AxFlow Germany is increasing its service business in Switzerland with the acquisition of Geneva-based Ateliers Ehrismann SA.
Founded in 1923, Ateliers Ehrismann services electrical motors, pumps and different electrical and mechanical machinery. The firm also provides frequency converters and manufactures mechanical spare components and electromechanical prototypes. Ateliers Ehrismann is ATEX licensed for the repair of electric motors and holds a permanent stock of electrical motors, frequency converters and spare components for complete pump overhauls.
“ Premiere of Ateliers Ehrismann will make a great addition to AxFlow and is consistent with our enterprise group strategy to continue to expand our service business,” said Ole Weiner, CEO of AxFlow Holding.
“Ateliers is a frontrunner in their local niche market and has a distinguished market recognition,” stated Georg Niebch, managing director of AxFlow Germany. “With Ateliers Ehrismann on board we see a chance for sales synergies by expanding the distribution of AxFlow’s services to clients in the region, while at the same time offering a fair better service offering to our present prospects in Switzerland that we look after from our gross sales workplace in Muttenz.”
Martine Ehrismann, owner of Ateliers Ehrismann, said: “I am very happy that AxFlow will keep the continuity of our company and can develop its construction with the model new opportunities that the company offers. The sustainable technique of both firms supplies a very good basis for further progress.”
