Hayward Tyler Inc has been issued with the primary ASME “N” Certificate of Authorization overlaying Section III, Division 5 Class A and B vessels, pumps, valves and piping techniques.
The Vermont, USA-based company has been participating in the improvement of advanced nuclear reactors since 2016, together with working with developers on pumps and equipment for top temperature, salt-based, sodium-based and gas-cooled reactors.
In addition to the “N” certificates, Hayward Tyler also had revisions permitted for its “NS” and “NPT” certifications to include Class A and B fabrication.
“This is a significant milestone for Hayward Tyler solidifying our dedication to the advancement of applied sciences that provide clean energy to millions of homes,” stated Jeff Belotti, director of Nuclear Business Development at Hayward Tyler. “The enlargement of our ASME and nuclear packages follows a practice of preparing Hayward Tyler to serve industry’s most challenging functions using probably the most well-regarded design and high quality requirements.”
